All I can tell you is what I know. I’m no great philosopher or guru I’m
just a regular guy who found something that saved his life. It works for
me. I like the phrase from Psalms: The Peace that passeth all
understanding. And I really am sorry you can’t see that or experience that.
But you may in time. It’s something that the mind can not quite get itself
around. It can only be understood by that thing you’re trying to deny. It
will seem ambiguous because of what you’re trying to grasp it with.

The soul has levels but the level you probably experience it at the most is
that nudge that lets you know when you should or shouldn’t do something.
Some things are meant to be a mystery otherwise you would have nothing to
strive for. We can grow for eternity and never understand it all. It’s that
still small voice within you, it’s your guide, it’s that inner peace that
comes over you sometimes that is beyond description,it’s that feeling of
knowing something for sure and you don’t know why/how.

I watched. No offence but I’ve heard those arguments before, To me it’s an
unbalanced approach that relies too much on the intellect to the detriment
of the spiritual. I’m seeking that balance between the two. They both exist
so why negate either. Let them compliment each other. I’ve had several
mystical experiences in my life and to me I would be a fool to ignore them.
I don’t just think the universe is one I know the universe is one, the mind
is one and the soul is one. I’ve experienced that.

Would that be re-educate or mis-educate. To my thinking what you propose is
just a return to what I used to think. And I will be the first to admit
that I may be wrong. But when something checks out and then feels right in
my soul I go with it. Like you I to have a mind and a soul and I use them
as best I can. And it has become a wonderful experience. I doubt very
seriously that if either one of us would change or affect the others
opinions. But I enjoy an occasional skirmish. Peace

As far as nde:Once a person’s brainwaves have ceased, indicating that all
mental activity has stopped — perceiving, thinking, and remembering — how
do we explain their accurate perception of events going on around their
“deceased” body (both sight and sound), and their accurate reporting of
events taking place even at significant distances from their
    clinically-dead body?

    Zero point field………very interesting discussion

Oh, lets cut to the chase here: She’s preaching Stoicism and Neoplatonism
and the whole Anima Mundi thing. Maybe she’s read Richard Feynman’s QED
which is a fabulous little book and which does not dabble in mysticism. But
the world at the smallest scale functions like a gambling casino yet at the
macroscopic scale it is just a deterministic as Laplace’s “demon” who if it
knew the position of every particle in the universe along with it’s precise
motion would know the future with certainty.

And did you ever realize that this woman is a journalist, not a physicist?
    You dumbass.

  9. aqouby29 March, 2012 at 7:10 pm

This video isn’t making physicists reevaluate their presuppositions toward
    QM

  10. aqouby29 March, 2012 at 12:21 pm

I choose to believe mainstream physicists? No, I study things like wave
functions and Einstein’s theories, differential calculus, and statistics to
come to conclusions which happen to agree with the mainstream physicists.
The reason why they’re mainstream is because they’re correct so far. I know
plenty on quantum mechanics and would be willing to blow you out of the
water on your knowledge of the Universe, if you want? 😀 lol, what does
that even mean? “You believe all effects are local.”?

  11. aqouby14 February, 2012 at 8:44 pm

    @lightbrownpoop Right on.

  12. aqouby14 February, 2012 at 1:36 pm

@lightbrownpoop Leonard Susskind, Steven Weinberg, Steven Hawking, Lawrence
Krauss, me. Any of these people would educate you on the subject.

  13. aqouby13 February, 2012 at 11:20 pm

@lightbrownpoop Ummm, no. Well I understand that you’d want me to have some
mercy on account that I called her a dumb bitch, although it may be
rightfully be a name to give to someone who butchers a theory of something
that is highly complex. I have plenty of patience for people who try to put
into words the dynamic of the quantum and patience for who will admit to
say that they don’t know. What I don’t have is patience for is people who
throw in nonsense with real science.

  14. aqouby13 February, 2012 at 3:05 am

@lightbrownpoop And your word means anything? This lady talks nonsense and
if you believe it then you are a fucktard.

  15. Cassi Raye7 February, 2012 at 3:14 am

You haters are rude. I love this video & respect what she has to say.

  16. aqouby31 December, 2011 at 9:57 pm

What a dumb bitch. She obviously doesn’t know jack about physics. Energy
    fields? Grade 7 talk.

QM is just another level of physics that isn’t yet the bridge to the
spiritual. there is nothing in QM that can manifest qualia for instance. QM
is slightly odd and different from classical mechanics in that it has some
diffuse non local qualities but that oddity has nothing to do with the
oddity that is the spiritual. QM is just physics.

she must have magical powers…she’s levitating in this video

@larbo1616, our minds are very powerful. They literally can move mountains
or make a pyramid. Like the Matrix, she is seeing beyond apprearances and
recomending we do the same. Time is speeding up means that; Our thoughts
are manifesting into matter more quickly and more forcefully than ever
before. Don’t let your mind wander. What you think about you will create
for yourself and everyone else. Look at what Hitler’s thoughts did.

  20. JudyOsmundson8 April, 2010 at 7:07 am

@tvanymesic Quantum mechanics is a study of particulate matter. This is a
different subject from the full physics. 😉

I thought that she was British. Still she is great. Her work really
enlighted me. But there is still one thing I do not understand: what
    happens after we die?

  22. sun0hr26 March, 2010 at 2:36 pm

she is great! thanks for upload! 5 billion stars!

I made no personal attack on you and yet most of your comments, not just to
me but, in general are extremely personal. It is as if she is attacking you
personally, are you the god of all knowledge. That is a frightening
position to be in. A scientist really should not get so caught up in the
“laws” and known elements. When you do that you end up missing something
you are not looking for. Sort of like Neals Bohr and Albert Einstein on the
light as wave or particle question.

  24. ShootBigBird9 July, 2009 at 6:09 am

What really grates me, is that so many people, so many books, never, ever,
show a physical mechanism for what they are alluding to. They offer nothing
but words and jargon. But they are very quick to point their finger at some
experimentation and draw line from their theory straight to it, as though
that piece of evidence supports their theory. Frog Shite!!! I spent 23
years, not just coining a theory, but to make sure that I had physical
modeling, within the known laws, to demonstrate it.

  25. pjholl21 June, 2009 at 1:04 pm

Why does she keep repeating herself? She’s not a scientist, shes should not
be making these ridiculous claims. She’s been watching star wars too much.
Electrons and particles are only localised, if they are produced together
and entnagled from the start. The laws of Quantum mechanics have no direct
effect on the macroscopic world. When she says “we are beaming light”, yes
we are, it’s called thermal radiation AKA heat, it has NOTHING to do with
    DNA, even rocks emit heat.
