Hamiltonian? Hamilton supported central banking, and there was no central bank. He also supported a whole lot of regulations and currency schemes that were NOT in place during the Gilded age.

Other than Worker’s Rights (Which were being abused), the Gilded age was a time of prosperity. But Hamilton had nothing to do with it.

Communists are against religion (Christianity),and they seek to destroy religion;yet, when we look deeper into the nature of Communism,we see that it is essential nothing else than a religion Judaism

I wouldn’t consider myself an expert, however when I read Mises I get the impression that since morals vary and goals vary, that is why the market exists, to let each individual’s own guidance make decisions, in their own moral ways. I think that is why “morality” as it would be called is not a hallmark of Mises, simply because it is “futile” to try and define what is appropriate morality for the people.

But I think what morality means here is taxation and inflation theft, is immoral?

The rats controlling Fox have cancelled Fox Business Channel’s “Freedom Watch” with Judge Andrew Napolitano. I guess the pressure from Washington against Napolitano’s fiery brand of truth-telling became too much for the spineless dolts.

WOW Judge Naps history is terrible. Hamiltonian economic thought was dominant in the Gilded Age.
During that era dominant economist Henry Carey favored Developmental capitalism as opposed to “laisse Faire” capitalism.

the UK was the only nation that favored Free Trade and history shows American hated the british.

This is great. Except that Roosevelt and Wilson were the opposite of socialists, they were corporatists.

My only problem is the Judge seems to conflate Austrian economic theory with Objectivism. Defending capitalism based on its inherent “morality” was not a hallmark of the Misesian/Rothbardian Austrian School. The defense of free markets based on reason and morality was the approach of Ayn Rand, ideas she fashioned into her own philosophy of Objectivism. Rand and Mises were close friends, but the Austrian School was more or less agnostic on the “morality” of capitalism.

I love it when ‘your sort’ calls names and never posts why someone is stupid or wrong… When ‘your sort’ does this, you prove that ‘your sort’ is INTELLECTUALLY BANKRUPT…
