DUDE…This is a disaster waiting to happen. FIRST…DO NOT make the bench
part of the step. When water hits your bench where will it go? The bench
should be FULLY INSIDE the hop up. I also agree with the NO PRESLOPE
question? That is against code. If the water gets to the LINER what are the
potential other disasters you could run into, especially if the liner has a
hole in it? Not to mention you’re on PLYWOOD. I would have never EVER built
a shower like this. I wonder how it looks today? Could you please show us a
video of how the drain looked when finished?

Sal and Hugo, you both left out 2×8 blocking along the shower base.

Question? dont u have to put concrete underneath the Liner? then concrete
on top the liner? your way is much faster, no fucking around!!

Hugo your video is very descriptive and thanks for share, now my question
is… Under the shower liner is suppose to be a cement base with the
    incline to the drain?

    please let me know,

    Thanks again!

wouldn’t it be better to run the pan all the way across build the mud bed
and then build your bench out of concrete blocks instead of out of wood.

Where is the pre-slope under the liner?

I see that you have water-lines and VALVE running on exterior wall, and
wall is 2×4. This is against building code and never should be performed,
even with extra insulation ! !

You should build 2×6 wall in order to do that my friend – how could you
accept this MAJOR error and let it go? very not professional.

Seems to me that you are well intentioned, but you omitted a few critical
steps while installing your liner and mud.

So do you use a concrete board on the walls and bring it down the the
concrete shower base and seal that joint somehow? Good video +Hugo Correa!
