Hmmm, I am not distracting from a useful video but I think I could make a
case for that not being under $10, at least if you bought the components
new, to size, from Bunnings… and it certainly wouldn’t be if you replaced
the screws with longer versions as you would firstly have to find a
specialist fixings store…
In any case well done, and please, please what is the router you are using?
– top (when in a table) mounted lifting mechanism is to die for! (I hope it
isn’t a Festool)

I used to have so many plans to make a fancy router table/station, drill
press station …etc, but lately I’ve been seeing simple ideas such as this
and have really started to think that a lot of people may be over thinking
and over designing shop ‘furniture’. For 90% of what I do with a router
table, I honestly don’t think most people need anything more than what you
have presented here. Thanks for sharing!
