In the end…….THE COVERUP IS WORSE THAN THE CRIME.

Like your piece on jury nullufication. Unfortunately, my guess is that many
civil rights cases (especially against the powerful) will never make it in
    front of a jury.
It takes a LIGITIMATE media to hold prosecutors/courts accountable. In my
lawsuit against a district attorney and other defendants…..my initial
attorney was threatened with prosecution by same DA ……and i was forced
to proceed Pro Se (because NO attorney ever wishing to do business in said
DA’s courthouse would take my case).
Luckily, I found a very good paralegal and commenced to kick defendant’s
    behinds in federal district court.
    But look what happened:
-I HANDED my lawsuit to the two county papers as well as a TV station, and
    they refused to report.
-the district court sat on motions to dismiss for a YEAR……until i
forced them to rule with writ mandamus. I then fortunately found an
    attorney to proceed.
-then….when finally forced to allow me to proceed with my prosecution,
the court proceeded to rule against precedent and evidence.
btw…….this is going to the US Supreme Court………..even with the
very low chances of being heard…..(if’s about the principle).
    Kitko v Young
The point is, the media blackout ALLOWED the federal courts to “pick
favorites” and screw the Plaintiff……because THEIR prosecutor needed
    cover.
