You really aren’t forced to pay for it. The people decided to have police. Majority wins so deal with it.

“We pay your salaries” Well you guys probably don’t have jobs and live with your parents. They pay more into their own salaries than you do.

I totally support you. But if someone breaks into your house or if someone’s trying to murder you , who would you call?

  4. bullrope200327 March, 2013 at 9:33 am

I dont think thats what hes saying at all. Think about this, its late at night, youre on a road, speed limit is 70 (for whatever reason), clearly no one around. Do you go 70, if you said yes, good for you. However not everyone has that kind of integrity and just as they are hitting 90 or whatever, someone comes out of a blind street and hits them or gets hit. Which is probably why the speed limit was 70, for reaction time. Just like warning labels, they are there cuz someone did something stupid

I dont think anyone is saying you cant film the cops performing thier duties, it appears they just want to see video of the cops doing something wrong, not cops at a traffic stop and someone yelling, “no victim, no crime”. You even state in your comment, running a stop sign is a reason to be stopped. And of course the cop will ID you cuz you might get a citation. You ask about examples at the end of your comment, YES, I believe thats what people want, vids of cops doing something wrong.

So you’re saying: If there was nobody to tell you otherwise, you would immediately go out and harm others?

    Interesting…

  7. der Meisteschutze19 March, 2013 at 6:20 am

    That’s NOT a crime, asshole.

  8. Kiwipo Kiwiland18 March, 2013 at 7:46 am

Those people going after criminals on the streets are police. Those people following police around to harrass them are tossers.
Police are safe targets for you because you know they won’t beat or shoot you, as criminals might well do if you tried filming them in the act.
A bunch of clowns in a bus laughing their heads off as they follow cops about are just morons.

    Whats your point

  10. Honkey Magoo14 March, 2013 at 11:10 pm

“These guys are idiots…” says the guy who just posted 13 comments full of gibberish.

  11. Honkey Magoo14 March, 2013 at 11:09 pm

Yeah, it’s really helpful to call the police if you’re assaulted so they can write their little report. Also, the police are “safe targets”? ROFL don’t pay much attention to the news do ya little guy?

There are already people going after criminals on the street. CopBlock is just reminding people they have rights and are making sure the police respect that people have those rights. What problem do you have with that? What do the cops have to hide? If they’re not doing anything wrong….. 🙂

I love the fact that copblock wants to help record officers on duty and ensure that they do their job properly but what I don’t like is when they will bother officers in the video when the video shows an officer who is doing a good job. There are some really bad cops out there but does that mean we should go around harassing them for just doing their job? If they saw a cop who was actually doing something wrong then by all means get his info but why bother a cop who is just doing their job?

  13. MrDapotpie14 March, 2013 at 4:24 pm

This video didn’t show anything even remotely close to that. I clicked it hoping to see you guys catching bad cops but instead it’s a video of you taunting officers who didn’t do anything wrong. Harass the bad cops, not the good ones.

  14. MrDapotpie14 March, 2013 at 4:22 pm

There is a big difference between monitoring the police and constantly harassing them. If copblock was simply filming police activity I would support it but they also spend a lot of time verbally harassing officers and I just don’t see how that helps this situation.

  15. MrDapotpie14 March, 2013 at 4:19 pm

I agree the kids were wrong but reacting with violence would be even worse.

  16. MrDapotpie14 March, 2013 at 4:17 pm

Yes but just because you encountered bad officers that doesn’t mean we should harass the ones who are doing their job correctly. By just blindly assuming every officer is bad because you know some of them are is just plain wrong. Good officers should not only not have to put up with being bothered while on their job but they should be applauded. Many officers do their jobs well and risk their lives to keep us safe every day. The exception does not make the rule.

  17. MrDapotpie14 March, 2013 at 4:13 pm

I’ve seen people run stop signs all the time. Most people obey the law but many simply don’t care and if you make it legal to do whatever you want then I’m sure we will see the number of accidents rise.

  18. MrDapotpie14 March, 2013 at 4:11 pm

I would much rather you get thrown in jail for suggesting that a non-violent citizen should get the crap beaten out of them by officers of the law. If you wanna give them a ticket or arrest them, that’s fine but it’s laughable that you go on and on about how they are the underbelly of society and worthless dopers and at the same time are advocating violence. A person like you who fights before thinking is the true danger to our society, not some kids being rude to officers.

  19. MrDapotpie14 March, 2013 at 4:07 pm

Dude I’m not supporting copblock but you’re being a judgmental ass. I hate it when people go around calling people “dopers” and how they are the underbelly of our society and yet you still probably support the alcohol industry in this country. People like you make themselves feel secure in the world by blaming every problem on people like the “dopers”. Anything and everything wrong in your world is caused by people you don’t relate to, right?

  20. MrDapotpie14 March, 2013 at 4:02 pm

Woah woah woah. I agree these guys are idiots but no where does anyone even talk about smoking pot in this video. Also just like to point out that you are calling someone a loser while you’re spending your free time watching their video… what does that make you?

  21. MrDapotpie14 March, 2013 at 3:59 pm

Why would you support annoying officers that aren’t doing anything wrong? If a cop is doing their job wrong then by all means, get a badge number and name but all they showed in this videos was cops doing their job responsibly and then being harassed by the people behind the cameras. What exactly did they accomplish is this video? Did they save someone from police brutality or did they just giggle while filming cops?

  22. MrDapotpie14 March, 2013 at 3:55 pm

lol sorry meant to say “calm manner”

  23. MrDapotpie14 March, 2013 at 3:54 pm

Ease what tension? All I saw was some cops making traffic stops and talking to the people they stopped in a clam manner. I admit that there are some horrible officers on the force but following them around and giggling about it is not going to help anything. If you see something wrong then by all means get their badge number and record evidence but I don’t see how bothering cops who you have no reason to suspect of wrongdoing is helping.

  24. MrDapotpie14 March, 2013 at 3:49 pm

I’m all for stopping corrupt officers but what I just saw was a bunch of people harassing officers. Traffic laws are put in place to keep the public safe, I don’t want to live in a world where any idiot can go whatever speed they want through my neighborhood streets. If you guys want to stop bad cops you should start working with victims of police brutality. Following cops around all night and giggling about annoying them is not an effective way to make a change.

  25. Kiwipo Kiwiland14 March, 2013 at 8:41 am

What is sad, is that if one of you idiots were to get assualted on the street these same cops would come to your aid. And you would scream loudly for them to do so.
It owuld be far better if you filmed crimnals and violent law breakers, but since you know they would assault you if you tried you opt for the safe targets.
